Cancellation Terms

The Programme and Price

• Programme fee: AUD $4,000 per participant.
• Intake 1: 2–6 November 2026.
• Intake 2: 9–13 November 2026.
• Each intake requires a minimum of 15 confirmed participants to proceed.
• The Programme fee includes scheduled workshops and masterclasses, salon shadowing, daily lunch during programme days, the Day 1 welcome dinner, the Day 4 farewell dinner, and up to AUD $200 toward the scheduled Day 2 salon experience.
• The Programme fee does not include airfares, accommodation, travel insurance, visas or entry permissions, personal expenses, meals not expressly included, or any salon service amount above the included AUD $200 allowance.

Provisional Booking and Programme Confirmation

A 30% booking deposit of AUD $1,200 secures a provisional place in the Participant's selected intake. The remaining 70% balance is AUD $2,800.

A provisional place is not confirmation that the selected intake will proceed. MIGENS & CO. will assess enrolments against the minimum requirement of 15 participants per intake and will issue written confirmation by email on 1 October 2026.

If an intake does not reach the minimum number, MIGENS & CO. may cancel that intake. In that case, all Programme amounts paid for that intake, including the deposit, will be refunded in full. MIGENS may offer a transfer to the other intake or a future programme, but the Participant is not required to accept that alternative.

Important Travel Booking Warning

Flights and accommodation are arranged independently by the Participant and are not part of the Programme fee.

Until the Participant receives MIGENS & CO.'s written confirmation on 1 October 2026 that the selected intake will proceed, the Participant is strongly advised not to purchase non-refundable or non-changeable flights, accommodation, tours or other travel services. If travel must be booked earlier, flexible or refundable arrangements should be selected wherever possible.

If the Participant voluntarily makes non-refundable or non-changeable travel arrangements before written Programme confirmation, the Participant accepts the commercial risk of doing so. To the extent permitted by law, MIGENS & CO. does not agree to reimburse cancellation fees, change fees or other external travel losses arising solely from those pre-confirmation arrangements.

Final Balance Payment

• Intake 1 (2–6 November 2026): final balance due 19 October 2026.
• Intake 2 (9–13 November 2026): final balance due 26 October 2026.
• If the final balance is not received by the applicable due date, MIGENS & CO. may treat the booking as cancelled by the Participant and apply the cancellation terms below, after giving reasonable notice where practicable.

Cancellation by the Participant

Before written Programme confirmation on 1 October 2026

If the Participant cancels the provisional booking, the deposit will be refunded less an AUD $150 administration fee representing booking and processing costs already incurred.

After written Programme confirmation and before the applicable final balance due date

The AUD $1,200 deposit is non-refundable. Any balance amount paid in advance will be refunded, less the deposit, subject to applicable law.

On or after the applicable final balance due date

MIGENS & CO. may retain amounts reasonably necessary to cover non-recoverable Programme costs and losses arising from the cancellation, up to the full Programme fee. Any amount that must be refunded under applicable law will be refunded.

No-show, late arrival or voluntary early departure

No refund is provided for Programme components missed because the Participant fails to attend, arrives late or chooses to leave early, except to the extent required by law.

Cancellation or Material Changes by MIGENS & CO.

If MIGENS & CO. cancels an intake because the minimum of 15 participants is not reached, or cancels for another reason within its control, all Programme amounts paid for that intake will be refunded in full unless the Participant voluntarily accepts an alternative arrangement.

MIGENS & CO. may make reasonable changes to instructors, venues, session order or timing where necessary, provided the overall quality and essential character of the Programme are not materially diminished.

If MIGENS & CO. makes a significant change that materially alters the essential nature of the Programme, the Participant may have rights to cancel or obtain a refund under these Terms or the Australian Consumer Law. MIGENS & CO. will communicate significant changes as soon as reasonably practicable.

Payment Methods and Payment Surcharges

Payments may be made by bank transfer or by the payment methods made available by MIGENS & CO. Bank transfer does not attract a MIGENS card surcharge.

For card payments made before 1 October 2026, any card surcharge will be disclosed before payment and will not exceed the amount permitted by law and applicable payment-network rules.

Travel Insurance

Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel insurance promptly after receiving written Programme confirmation. If insurance is purchased earlier, Participants should check that the policy provides suitable cancellation protection for arrangements made before Programme confirmation.

Participants should consider cover for trip cancellation or interruption, overseas medical expenses, personal liability, lost or delayed baggage and other risks relevant to their circumstances. Travel insurance is the Participant's responsibility, and Participants should review the policy terms, exclusions and excesses carefully.

Participant Agreement and Programme Conduct

Participation in the Programme is also subject to the MIGENS K-Beauty Immersion Trip Participant Agreement & Code of Conduct. That agreement covers safety, health and accessibility information, conduct expectations, salon and venue rules, privacy, media preferences, and the consequences of serious or repeated misconduct.

If there is an inconsistency between that agreement and these Terms concerning payment, deposit or refund rules, these Terms apply to that issue, subject always to applicable law.

Force Majeure

A Force Majeure event means an event beyond the reasonable control of the affected party, such as a natural disaster, government travel restriction, public health order, major transport disruption, industrial action or similar event that materially prevents the Programme from proceeding as planned.

If a Force Majeure event affects the Programme, MIGENS & CO. will notify Participants as soon as reasonably practicable and will act in good faith to determine a reasonable outcome, which may include rescheduling, a credit, or a refund of amounts required by law or amounts that can reasonably be recovered or avoided.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

Where the Australian Consumer Law applies, services must be provided with due care and skill and in accordance with any other applicable consumer guarantees.

Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with a booking or participation in the Programme will be handled in accordance with applicable Australian privacy law and the MIGENS & CO. Privacy Policy.

Health, accessibility, allergy or other sensitive information will only be collected where reasonably necessary for Programme safety or support and, where required, with the Participant's consent.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia and courts entitled to hear appeals from them.

Acknowledgement

By paying the booking deposit, the Participant confirms that they have read and understood these Terms, including the minimum enrolment requirement, the 1 October 2026 Programme confirmation date and the warning not to make non-refundable travel arrangements before written Programme confirmation.
