Payment, Deposit &
Cancellation Terms
These Terms govern payment, deposits, cancellations and refunds for the MIGENS K-Beauty Immersion Trip ("the Programme"), offered by MIGENS & CO., a registered business name of OZKO Pty Ltd, ABN 33 659 089 737 ("MIGENS", "we", "us") to participants ("you", "the Participant").
By paying a deposit, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The Programme and Price
- Programme fee: AUD $4,000 per participant. All prices are stated in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST. OZKO Pty Ltd (ABN 33 659 089 737) is registered for GST and will issue a tax invoice for each payment.
- The Programme runs as scheduled intakes. The dates of your intake are set out in the Programme itinerary and confirmed in writing when your booking is confirmed.
- The Programme fee includes tuition, masterclasses, venue access, and programme activities as described in the Programme itinerary.
- The Programme fee does not include international or domestic airfares, accommodation, travel insurance, visas, meals not specified in the itinerary, or personal expenses. These are the Participant's own responsibility to arrange and pay for.
Deposit and Booking
A provisional place is secured once a deposit of 30% of the Programme fee (AUD $1,200) is received.
The remaining balance of 70% (AUD $2,800) is due as set out in Clause 3.
Final Balance Payment
- The final balance is due 30 days before the start date of your intake.
- The exact due date for your intake is confirmed in writing when your booking is confirmed, and is shown on your invoice.
- If the final balance is not received by the applicable due date, MIGENS & CO. may treat the booking as cancelled by the Participant, and the cancellation terms in Clause 4 will apply.
Cancellation by the Participant
30 or more days before the programme start date
If you cancel your booking 30 or more days before the start date of your intake, your deposit will be refunded in full, less a $150 administration fee to cover booking and processing costs already incurred.
Fewer than 30 days before the programme start date, where the final balance has not been paid
Your deposit (AUD $1,200) is non-refundable. Any amount you have paid above the deposit will be refunded.
After the final balance has been paid in full
The Programme fee is generally non-refundable from this point, reflecting the point at which MIGENS & CO. has finalised all bookings, staffing and commitments in Seoul on your behalf, except where a refund is required under the Australian Consumer Law, or where MIGENS & CO. agrees otherwise in writing.
Participant substitution
Participant substitution may be considered at MIGENS & CO.'s discretion, if requested in writing before the final balance due date. Any substitute participant must be approved by MIGENS & CO. and must meet any programme suitability, travel, health and administrative requirements. Additional costs arising from the substitution are the Participant's responsibility.
No-shows and early departure
No refund is provided for failure to attend, late arrival, or voluntarily leaving the Programme before it concludes.
Cancellation or Changes by MIGENS & CO.
Each intake requires a minimum number of participants to proceed. If MIGENS & CO. cancels an intake because this minimum is not reached, or for any other reason within its control, Participants booked on that intake will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, including the deposit.
Where reasonably possible, MIGENS & CO. will notify Participants of a cancelled intake no later than 30 days before the start date of that intake.
MIGENS & CO. reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the Programme itinerary, instructors, or venues where necessary, provided the overall quality and structure of the Programme is not materially diminished.
Payment Methods
Payments can be made by bank transfer or by card.
MIGENS & CO. does not apply a card processing fee or surcharge. The amount shown on your payment link or invoice is the full amount payable, whichever payment method you choose.
This applies to all payment methods MIGENS & CO. accepts, including Visa, Mastercard and EFTPOS debit, credit and prepaid cards. Merchant service fees charged by our payment provider are borne by MIGENS & CO.
Participants paying with a card issued outside Australia should note that their own bank or card issuer may charge a foreign transaction or currency conversion fee. Any such fee is charged by that institution, not by MIGENS & CO., and is outside our control.
Travel Insurance
MIGENS & CO. strongly recommends that all Participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking, covering (at minimum) trip cancellation, overseas medical costs, and loss of personal belongings.
Travel insurance is the Participant's own responsibility. MIGENS & CO. is not responsible for travel-related losses outside the Programme fee, such as flights, accommodation, personal belongings or cancellation costs, except where required by law.
Health, Fitness and Participant Responsibility
The Programme includes a guided walk on Inwangsan Mountain and full days of hands-on, hands-and-feet technical work. By booking, you confirm that you are fit and able to participate in the Programme as described, or will notify MIGENS & CO. of any condition that may require reasonable adjustment, prior to booking.
Participants are responsible for their own conduct, belongings and wellbeing throughout the Programme. MIGENS & CO. will take reasonable care in organising and delivering Programme activities, but Participants acknowledge that travel, walking activities and hands-on technical sessions involve inherent risks.
Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform obligations under these Terms where this is caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government travel restrictions, public health orders, industrial action, or similar events ("Force Majeure").
Where a Force Majeure event prevents the Programme from proceeding, MIGENS & CO. will work with Participants in good faith to offer a credit toward a future intake, a partial refund reflecting costs that can reasonably be recovered, or another mutually agreeable outcome.
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms restricts, limits or excludes any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, including the consumer guarantees that services will be provided with due care and skill, and be fit for the purpose disclosed.
Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with your booking will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and MIGENS & CO.'s Privacy Policy, and used only for the purpose of administering your booking and delivering the Programme.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
Acknowledgement
By paying a deposit, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to these Terms in full.
